The 7 of Us

If zeus hurled lightning bolts as often as men sinned, he would soon be out of lightning bolts. Made not in a religious tone but in a toungue-in-cheek manner, this series characterizes the flaws of men in 7 different personalities. The pieces aims to provide a reflection of our own faults and a reminder for self-knowledge. If we understood how they factor into who we have become, we would understand much more about ourselves.

God’s plan made a hopeful beginning,
But man spoilt his chances by sinning,
We trust that the story,
Will end in great glory,
But at present the other side’s winning.

But yes, remember we must,
The virtues in us we trust,
Then less we pay,
On judgement day
For anger, sloth, pride,
greed, gluttony inside,
And of course for envy and lust.
