The Opening of Birthmark:Chronicles

Birthmark: Chronicles began as four friends who found a common passion in art was already either dabbling in art or participating in the the art scene. Through the chance of being colleagues, this cigarette break quartet, who often spoke of the “work” they finished over the weekend thought it might be a good idea to put on a small show, invite some friends and family over for dinner to appreciate the colored canvas. And that we did, we just didn’t expect it to be at KLpac, with all our friends, family and members of the press.

We would to thank everyone that took the effort to come to the opening, you’ve all made it a success. It was truly a night to remember. It may be small but it was filled with the most important people and for that we’re most grateful… even to that person who gatecrashed, finished the whiskey and didn’t wanna go home ( this means you, foon).

For those who didn’t make it, here is a summary of what took place:

The end of opening night saw most of our objectives come to pass and we’re set to return next year with an even bigger show, with the addition of more emerging and seasoned artists.
